1. Log into Softweb to retrieve your Stony Brook activation key for Mathworks MATLAB at https://softweb.cc.stonybrook.edu. NetID authentication is required to log in to Softweb. On the Softweb Home Page, click the MATLAB link under University Licensed Applications.
2. Click the blue download R2014A button.

4. Click Run.
5. Click Allow.
6. When prompted to select an installation method, select Log in with a MathWorks Account. Click Next.
7. Accept the terms, click Next.
8. Enter your email address and the password you set up for MathWorks, click Next.
9. The license is pre-populated based on the activation key you entered previously. Click Next.
10. On the Folder Selection page select where you want to install the software, click Next.
11. Select the products you need to install. Click Next.
12. Select desired Installation Option, click Next.
13. Click Install.
14. The installation takes several minutes. Once completed, select Activate MATLAB and click Next.
15. When prompted with Active MathWorks Software, click Next.
16. Click Confirm.
17. Once the activation is complete, Click Finish.
